I started reading fiction relatively later that other people my age. The first Book I've finished was Rick Riordan's "The Lightning Thief" in 2012. I settled for reading the series since I'm also interested with the Greek mythology. However, my English teacher in third year high school introduced me to the other angles of world of books. He gave me Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist" and then I fell in love.

The only kind of books I've been reading in grade school are textbooks. These books are the first few books I've read as a starter. If this books aren't great, then I should've quit reading a long time ago.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it"
I haven't reckoned about loving and wanting books until I've read one. If the first book you read is awesome, you gotta love all the books after it. This is the first book that I have ever read after Rick Riordan. It was lent by my english teacher on a temperate Sunday afternoon after visiting his house one town away from mine. I can still remember waiting for my dad to fetch me holding the book tightly. It was like enveloping me with its goodness at first glance. I've read the first chapter on the stairs while the dusk overthrew the light in my town. And that was it. I've fallen in love, forever.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
This is my one of my favorite books. It will always be in my top 3. It was given by my sister on September 2014. That time, the book was all over book lovers' hands. My sister wanted it to be on mine too. am glad she did. John Green have captured my heart after reading the first 20 pages of this book. The plot and the genre of the book might be too romantic or common for some people, but the lesson and the words still remained in my heart until today.
The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan
"Back in my day, we died all the time, and we liked it"
Back in high school, Rich Riordan's series were my thing. There was always a burst of blood chapters to chapter, sequel to sequel. In my last year in high school, I've suddenly shifted to Divergent and Shatter Me fictions. These series were the bomb.
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
I love this lowkey love team. This book is beautifully written.
Shout out to my book buddies in high school. Lots of love.
